Disney's Toy Story- Buzz Lightyear of Star Command

In the opening credits of 'Toy Story', it shows firstly the companies credits 'Walt Disney Pixar'. This shows who are the producers of the film are. Also the Toys 'woody' for example, in the opening part set the setting for the story, letting us know that the film with be about their adventures... In addition, the film instantly shows that it's a children's film by the use of colours and animation. The first scene is where the toys are talking about watching a film and about a person called 'buzz'.

From watching this first sequence we can tell that Toy Story is a animated adventure film that was directed by John Lasseter. We can tell that this film is a comedy animated adventure because of the opening credits "walt disney", associated with childrens film, which are given rating of U or PG. Also with the title of the film "Toy Story', shows that the topics the film talks about wont be hard for the children to understand as it'll be about the simple lives of toys.
