Soundtrack editing for the film sequence.
We used garage band to create a soundtrack for our children's opening sequence. We used various sounds for the feelings the actor are taking into account and some other sound tracks to show the important parts of the film such as "Alarm ring" for a daydream, This will show to the viewer that this part of the film is important. our soundtrack show various emotions and feelings through the film to give extra effect. This is the final part of out film making from james, ruth, adam and tom.

Editing our filming.
To overcome one of the problems we faced, we had to use doubles for the last piece of filming. However this didn't effect us during our editing. We uploaded are film onto the computer to be able to look at what we would have in the film. We used final cut express to help us with this.
We also need to use garage band to start making a soundtrack to go with our filming.

Thoughts on first day of filming...
Today we started to film our children's open sequence, it went well as we covered alot of different shots for our film. As we already had found our location of filming it made it easier to start filming straight away! We worked well as a group and helped each other act and with camera work too...
Over all a good days shooting!
Over all a good days shooting!
Disney's Toy Story- Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
In the opening credits of 'Toy Story', it shows firstly the companies credits 'Walt Disney Pixar'. This shows who are the producers of the film are. Also the Toys 'woody' for example, in the opening part set the setting for the story, letting us know that the film with be about their adventures... In addition, the film instantly shows that it's a children's film by the use of colours and animation. The first scene is where the toys are talking about watching a film and about a person called 'buzz'.
Detaied shot list....
The different shots used during our opening two minute sequence:
- Opening of the film, long shot. Of the setting.
- Mid shot- of the child on the floor after falling off the bike.
- Close-up- set of keys hanging out of his jeans.
- Extreme close up- Of the key.
- Extreme long shot- used to show the next scene and the surroundings and scale.
- Wide angle shot- Of the gateway and man standing.

R2- 43 Review
There are 10 real posts on the blog. There are 12 altogether, but two are blank 'spam' posts.
As of this stage, we feel that this is enough posts.
A detailed shot-list is missing, although the storyboard is very detailed.
The idea is good; the idea of a story told in a boy's unconscious is an interesting one and one we feel that a young child could 'get into'.
The genre is quite clear. We assume that this will be an adventure/fantasy story.
We feel that what is written is appropriate for an opening sequence. Perhaps, however, slightly too much goes on for two minutes' worth of film.
This could easily be shot in college; there are ditches and doors, which are the only two features referenced.
The analysis is very detailed. The choice of film to analyse, Monster's Inc., as a good one. This is because a lot goes on in the first 120 seconds of Monsters Inc.
In the analysis, the reference of how important doors are in the rest of the film is a particularly interesting point.
The storyboard is varied and clear enough. Perhaps it could be beneficial to do a bit less in the time frame. However, it is clear that the group knows what they are doing. The storyboard is clear.

In the opening credits of 'The Little Mermaid ', it shows firstly the companies credits 'Walt Disney'. This shows who are the producers of the film are. We first see the setting of the film, under the sea which could possible be significant to the film...
From watching this first sequence we can tell that The little Mermaid is a , animated adventure film about a young girl growing up and falling in love maybe... Directed Ron Clements
John Musker. We can tell that the film is a childrens film by it being animated and by the theatrical element to it - its going to be lighthearted to watch, perfect for a younger audience. The film was rating a U also telling us that the intended audience is children of a very young age.
